Cancellation Policy

Full Refund & Cancellation Policy available on www.truffulaedventures.com Purpose: This policy outlines clear, fair guidelines for refunds and cancellations to balance participant needs with Truffula EdVentures’ logistical and financial commitments. Overview: Truffula EdVentures creates immersive educational experiences that require advance planning and payment for travel, accommodations, and supplies. As such, we must implement a structured refund and cancellation policy to ensure financial stability. Refund Guidelines: Full Refunds: Available if requested 90+ days before departure. Request Process: All refund requests must be submitted in writing using our official form. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days. Force Majeure: No refunds for cancellations due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions). We will try to offer credits or prorated refunds. Non-Refundable Fees: $500 deposit (due at registration) Transaction, tax, and processing fees Any travel insurance purchased through Truffula Prorated Refunds (Within 90 Days): Partial refunds may be issued based on remaining trip days. The $500 deposit remains non-refundable. Cancellation Schedule: 90+ days: Full refund minus deposit 60–89 days: 50% refund 30–59 days: 25% refund <30 days: No refund Medical/Emergency Cancellations: Partial refund or credit may be issued with documentation (e.g., doctor's note). Payment & Deadlines: Deposit: $500 non-refundable, due at registration. Final Balance: Due 90 days before departure. Failure to pay may result in loss of spot. Late Fees: 1–7 days late: 5% fee 8–14 days late: 10% fee 15+ days late: Registration may be canceled without refund. Payment Plans: Participants may use a 4-part plan: Deposit ($500) ~7 months before: 50% of balance ~5 months before: 25% ~3 months before: 25% Reminders will be sent 7 days before each due date.
